Asthma and Allergy Foundation is a local charity providing evidence-based health information, confidential advice and support to people with asthma, their families, carers, friends and other members of the community.

We offer free advice to all. Our aim is to ensure that all those who turn to us for support get the help they need so they or their loved ones can live healthier and active lives.

Over the last 8 years Asthma and Allergy Foundation has developed specialist knowledge and understanding of how asthma impacts not just the person living with the condition but also their wider circle of family, close friends, colleagues and carers. Our range of services delivered by a team of qualified and experienced staff, offers a holistic approach for the general wellbeing of our service users.

Services available include evidence-based health information, advice and support, asthma management workshops for parents and carers, asthma support for older people in sheltered housing, asthma awareness sessions for teachers, PSA’s and school pupils, asthma training for organisations, local businesses and companies, social and wellbeing activities for children and young people and dedicated support for families, friends, carers and members of the community.

Asthma and Allergy Foundation aims to reduce the number of people who die needlessly due to asthma because 98% of asthma deaths are preventable. Help people live well with asthma and allergies and improve the quality of life for all those who turn to us for help and support.

We rely on the generosity of so many individuals, families, businesses and companies to ensure the ongoing provision of our free services. More detailed information on our services and how to support our work can be found on the relevant pages of our website.
